English Teacher

Keystone School has been a haven for San Antonio's bright and motivated children since 1948. Our diverse community of engaged learners in grades PK3-12 enjoys small classes, master teachers, and interdisciplinary instruction at our warm and historic campuses. Keystone's scholars prepare for adulthood in a safe and inclusive environment, and consistently lead the nation in measures of academic excellence.

Keystone School seeks a full-time English instructor with a start date of August 5, 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year. We welcome applicants committed to teaching English in an accelerated environment. Successful candidates will have demonstrated evidence of successful experience teaching writing, as well as an ability to teach at both middle and upper school levels.

Social Studies Teacher

Keystone's scholars prepare for adulthood in a safe and inclusive environment, and consistently lead the nation in measures of academic excellence.

Keystone School seeks a full-time History and Geography instructor with a start date of August 5, 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year. We welcome applicants committed to teaching in an accelerated environment. Successful candidates will have a passion for working with middle school students, as well as experience developing and delivering instruction using technology.

Required qualifications and experience include:

  • A commitment to Keystone School's mission
  • Three to five years Social Studies teaching experience
  • Proficiency with elementary and middle school age Social Studies curricula
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Understanding of developmental stages in adolescence
  • Ability to plan and work with grade level teams

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience teaching World Geography and World History
  • Experience running a Social Studies-related club
