English Instructor

Keystone School seeks a full-time or a combination of part-time English Instructors for the 2018-2019 school year. The position involves high school juniors and/or middle school 7th graders. We welcome applicants committed to teaching English in an accelerated academic environment.

Required qualifications include:

  • A commitment to Keystone School's mission
  • Three to five years English teaching experience
  • Experience teaching college level English composition
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Understanding of developmental stages in adolescence
  • Ability to plan and work with department and division colleagues

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with the AP English Language curriculum
  • Experience working with advanced and gifted students
  • Experience working with middle school English students

Spanish Instruction long-term substitute/s

Keystone School seeks a full-time long-term substitute, or combination of part-time long-term substitutes, to teach Spanish to students ages 6 – 14 from November 1, 2018 through March 8, 2019.

Required qualifications include:

  • A commitment to Keystone School's mission
  • Three to five years Spanish language instruction experience
  • Understanding of developmental stages of elementary-aged and adolescent children
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working with advanced and gifted students
  • Experience working with both elementary and middle school ages
