Testing Reminders

  • AP and PSAT tests are the only tests that Keystone helps students to register for and that are administered on our campus.
  • Students are responsible for registering for SAT and ACT tests and for requesting score reports. Paper forms can be found in the College Information room. On-line registration is often quicker.
  • It is important to decide exactly which version of your name to use, and use exactly the same name each time you register for a standardized test or fill out a college application. Using different names (e.g. initials, nicknames) can create confusion when your scores are reported. For further identification, use your social security number on all forms and applications.
  • Students are responsible for knowing which tests the particular colleges require. Many schools will require both SAT I and SAT II exams.
  • Colleges require official test scores straight from the testing agencies. Students must contact ETS or ACT to have scores sent directly to the colleges. Be aware that this process could take several weeks. Order your scores to be sent early.
  • Students may not take both the SAT I and the SAT II subject tests on the same day. Students may take either the SAT I or up to three SAT II tests.
  • Sunday test administrations follow each Saturday test date. Refer to the SAT and ACT websites for details on registering for Sunday tests.
  • Remember: college admissions readers consider years of classroom performance much more important than a score resulting from three hours on a weekend morning; keep those grades up!
