    The solar powered car does not need gasoline to operate, because it runs purely on solar power, stored in a battery. If you had a solar powered car, you would save hundreds of dollars every year just for the gasoline you're not buying. And just think of all the other things you don't have to buy.

    The cars are also more eco-friendly. Gasoline creates emissions, while solar power is completely emission free. Emissions account for a large chuck of all the green house gases that are being released. With fewer emissions, it helps us have cleaner air, which is something that everyone enjoys.
