College Counseling at Keystone School
Every year, Keystone seniors are accepted to a wide range of fine colleges and universities around the country. We strive to provide each student with the support, advice, and resources he/she needs to prepare for and successfully navigate the college search and application process. We advocate for all of our students to the fullest extent, while also preparing them for the unpredictable nature of college admissions. Our multi-faceted program includes:

Navianceweb-based application tracking system and college counseling portal for students, parents, and the Office of College Counseling

Intensive Individual Counseling – formal meetings starting in the sophomore year, one-on-one advising available to all Upper School students

Recommendation Letters - powerfully written, carefully researched, and highly personalized counselor letter for each senior; meaningful letters from teachers who really get to know our students and are honored to write for them

Brown Bag Lunch Series – college counseling workshops conducted throughout the year addressing topics relevant to each grade level (9th – 12th)

Visits from College Admissions Representatives -- Reps from 70+ colleges from across the nation and Europe visit Keystone’s campus each year to meet with our students; often these are the same reps who will be reading our students’ applications
