    E-mail Questions

  1. I suddenly stopped receiving e-mail on campus, why?

This usually occurs if you have become disconnected from the e-mail server during sending or receiving. To fix this, while in Outlook, make sure that you are not set to "work offline". This will prevent Outlook from checking the server for new e-mail.

Look at the bottom-right corner of the Outlook window and make sure there is not a message stating "Offline", "Disconnected", or "Working offline". The correct message should say "Connected". If it does not say "Connected", double-click or right-click on it and a menu will appear. In the menu you will see a checkmark next to "work offline". Click on it to uncheck the "work offline" feature.

Next, click the Send/Receive button and Outlook should begin receiving e-mail again automatically.
