10th graders visit northern Tennessee on Outdoor Education trip
Last week’s Outdoor Education trips also included the 10th Grade outing, where 32 sophomores and four teachers spent five days at the group campground in Pickett CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) Memorial State Park.
Students hiked trails, explored natural wonders such as Hazard Cave and participated in lessons with a park ranger about the history of the camp and the ecological significance of the region.
Throughout their trip, the class members had a chance to spend time with each other and build their own sense of community in the natural beauty of northern Tennessee.
