25 students participate in worldwide math competition

Twenty-five students from 5th through 11th grades came out on a Sunday morning to test their math skills against teams from all over the world in the Purple Comet math competition.

The Purple Comet Math Meet is a free, annual, international, online, team, mathematics competition designed for middle and high school students that has been held every year since 2003.

This year, there are 2681 registered teams from 52 countries.
