3rd grader raises money for cancer foundation and inspires others
Congratulations to third-grader Dylan, for leading a coin collection drive to raise funds for the cancer foundation Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
After she heard about children who battled cancer, she decided to do something herself and spoke to homerooms in all of the Lower School grades to collect coins. Her efforts raised $2,011.17 to help cancer research.
Her efforts inspired three of her classmates — Shreya, Aidan and Alisha — to set up an actual lemonade stand in Phil Hardberger Park to gather donations.
Way to go!

It is so wonderful for our youth so young working together for such a cause.
It is very inspirational and heart warming to know they are laying out a foundation of giving and helping others.
One day they will be our new leaders of tomorrow.
