3rd graders practice science skills

In one of the 3rd graders’ early units, students are practicing their data collection skills on campus.

Dr. Wittwer reports the young people dabbled as wildlife biologists, geologists, hydrologists and meteorologists, as they observed wildlife, drew a hydrology map, set a pitfall trap, and examined the soil on the Keystone campus.

Later in the year, the 3rd graders will plant a garden, tend it, and devour their handiwork.
