4th graders learn about topography
It’s wonderful when students can learn about a topic from a professional in the field, and the 4th graders got a special treat when Keystone parent Mrs. Urbis explained about topography and contour lines.
She explained that learning about contour lines when she was younger inspired her to ultimately become a geologist.
The students completed a couple of activities to learn more about these important topics — and maybe get some inspiration, too.
She’s one of three Keystone parents to visit campus and present to classes. Trinity University Prof. and Keystone dad Dr. Loiselle talked about French history with Madame Bolshakova’s class, while attorney and Keystone dad Mr. Steward visited with a film class to discuss “Do the Right Thing.”
Thank you, parents, for sharing your perspective and expertise!
