6th grade Spanish presents bienes raises (real estate)
How do you present a three bedroom, four bathroom house en español? The sixth graders in Señora Greenfield’s class know.
For one of their assignments, they divided up groups and learned how to describe a house in a state with a Spanish name, such as California, Florida, Nevada or Texas. The assignment also had them learning how to talk about rooms, kitchens, living rooms, and house features such as a stove or pool.
Of course, that also included learning the numbers necessary to give the price of a pool. Sometimes remembering that mil is a only a thousand even though it sounds like a million is tricky. The seven-figure number, if you don’t know, is millón.
