Alumni in tech share stories of coding with Lower School
To kick off Keystone’s celebration of the Hour of Code, two alumni visited with Lower School students about how they use their coding skills.
Ian Skop ’15, spoke of how he codes to work on projects on the Xbox. Evan Meade ’18, shared how he codes as part of the work he does for NASA-related research.
This year’s Hour of Code theme is “Computer Science for Good,” and one of the students’ activities is programming their own video game.
During the alumni presentation, the enthusiasm that the young men radiated clearly rubbed off on the younger students — and may have inspired them to pursue their own studies and careers in technology.
