Eighth grade team places third in SA Smart Challenge
Congratulations to the rising 9th graders who won third place and a special award in the SA Smart Challenge.
As eighth graders, these students created a presentation to address the problem of food insecurity and had advanced to the finals, where they delivered their presentation. The Keystone students created a proposal to use coupons on popular products at H-E-B to raise funds for the San Antonio Food Bank.
The four students on the team are Cody, Annia, Rashmi, and Ajay.

The middle school team also won the Hitish Nathani Resourcefulness Award, making the Keystone contingent the only team in the middle or high school divisions to win two awards.
The team members will also continue to develop their plan over the summer with the EPIcenter “Spark It Up Student Incubator.”
