We are searching for a capable and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our excellent faculty. The Teacher’s responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans and curricula that meet the learning goals of our accelerated program, collaborating with other teachers, assessing student work thoroughly and promptly, and addressing any performance issues. You should be able to teach students from varied cultural backgrounds and handle sensitive lessons.

To be successful as a Kindergarten Teacher, you should be a curious, lifelong learner with a passion for discovery, and have an ability and comfort in delivering instruction that meets 1st grade academic content standards.

Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Applies innovative and engaging teaching practices in a variety of subjects, including language arts, mathematics, social studies and science.
  • Uses authentic assessment practices to inform and guide instruction.
  • Differentiates learning material to challenge and support students.
  • Uses games, music, artwork, films, books, computers and other tools to teach basic educational and social skills
  • Possesses firm understanding of the Science of Reading and is comfortable implementing a structured literacy approach.
  • Displays a warm and nurturing character that supports one’s ability to connect with young children and their families.
  • Shows dedication to social, emotional and character development of each child.
  • Communicates effectively with parents and establishes a team approach with the child’s family.
  • Works well in a team; displays a positive attitude and eagerness to work collaboratively with colleagues in developing curriculum, planning for instruction, and partnering for grade-level and divisional events.


  • Degree in Education or a related discipline.
  • A completed apprenticeship or teaching experience.
  • The ability to answer sensitive questions and create an environment where everyone’s opinions are respected.
  • A passion for science and a commitment to continuing education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of current classroom technologies such as interactive whiteboard software, LMS software, Microsoft
  • Office 365, Google Apps for Education, etc.
  • Proficiency in managing both Apple (iPad and laptops) and PC devices.
