GEMUN team excels at online conference

Keystone’s GEMUN team for 2021
Like many other events, this year’s GEMUN took place online. So Keystone’s team still dressed up in business attire and took their talents to the virtual world.
The secretary of this year’s team, eighth-grader Julia, explained the activities:
GEMUN this year was a wonderful experience. It was the first GEMUN conference for all participants this year, and Keystone struck gold with all participating students receiving recognition for their work. Our team this year was small, consisting of six eighth graders and one seventh grader. The conference this year was online, but our team made the most of it and had a wonderful time working together on global issues. Our country was difficult to role-play this year as we did have Israel, who is presently headlining the news, but our delegates pushed through and did a wonderful job nonetheless.
Great job, middle schoolers!
