Goodbye Middle School, Hello Upper School!
Eighth graders reflected on their Middle School years and looked ahead during their year-end recognition ceremony.
Their brief speeches included navigating distance learning during Covid lockdowns, favorite classes, theatrical productions, and winning trophies in soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Between speeches, different students performed songs and Ryan even demonstrated his skill as a world-ranked cup stacker.
The 8th graders aren’t quite done yet. Next week still brings finals.
This marks the first of the big transition ceremonies for our students. Little School celebrates their end on Friday, while Fourth Grade has its Step Up ceremony next week and seniors graduate on May 28.
Mr. Handmaker writes about these big moments in his blog this week.
