Halloween food drive brings in more than 1,000 pounds
A big thank you and congratulations to the Keystone community for supporting the San Antonio Food Bank.
Between the Little School and the main campus, Keystone families donated a total of 1,249 pounds of food.
At the Little School, the food drive was part of a Helping Hands project. At the main campus, the drive was part of the Scare Out Hunger campaign. In that initiative, students had the opportunity to ask their neighbors for Food Bank donations instead of Halloween treats.
On a related note, 7th and 8th graders spent Friday morning volunteering at the Food Bank.
All part of Keystone’s commitment to community involvement and service.
