Junior earns honors at Exeter

Karina is on the left, in the tie-dye shirt.
Over the summer, junior Karina spent five weeks at Phillips Exeter studying writing, speech, and debate — and received “Honors” designation in writing and speech.
Her teachers raved about her performance during the program.
“… as an exemplary student, Karina regularly contributed sophisticated, astute comments to discussion, at once elevating the level of discourse and enhancing the dynamic of the classroom considerably. With a nimble mind, an eye for insight, and the ability to clearly articulate her views, Karina frequently acted as a catalyst for our most productive, substantive conversations,” one of her teachers wrote. “She has lots of brilliant ideas, and I hope she keeps speaking her mind.”
Looking forward to see what she creates in the coming year.
