Keystone supports 10th grader’s peanut butter drive
The recent peanut butter donation drive of tenth grader Gabriel succeeded brilliantly.
He asked teachers to publicize a drive he held around Halloween to gather jars of peanut butter to donate to a location organization called Snack Pak 4 Kids, which helps kids with food insecurity.
The organization provides weekend food supplements to serve the needs of chronically hungry children, to help address the correlation between food insecurity and learning. Peanut butter is a good source of protein for those needs, and easy for even young kids to make a quick sandwich.
Keystone responded with generosity and donated a total of 171 jars. Wow!
