Lower School Open House gives parents a peek into kids’ days
Lower School parents had a chance to get a glimpse of what happens in their kids’ classroom during Thursday’s Open House.
The evening began in the Theater with Mr. Handmaker welcoming guests and continued with parents going to their children’s classroom. There, teachers filled them in on the upcoming school year and what projects to expect.
After classroom time, the parents returned to the Theater, where the Specials teachers — Art, Library, Music, P.E., Spanish, Technology and Theatre — shared what the kids will cover in the coming months.
Meanwhile, the students had a special edition of Aftercare in the Cafeteria, with pizza.
