Meet the Faculty: 5th/6th Grade Math Teacher Mustafa Citci
Position: 5th/6th Grade Math Teacher
Education: B.S., Mathematics, Firat University; M.Ed., North American University
What did you do before you came to Keystone: I was GT/Testing Coordinator and Math Coach at the School of Science and Technology.
Why do you like working here: I love mathematics and I can easily have math conversations with my students at Keystone. Working with the best teachers is also a privilege. If you are a teacher, you always ask questions, but here in Keystone, students are asking questions that I really enjoy while I am teaching.
Hobbies/pastimes: Reading, learning new languages, spending time with my lovely family
Something (personal or professional) you’re proud of: I can see that some of my students start saying “math makes sense” and always question “how / why math works”.
Favorite/inspirational book:The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Favorite quote: “Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.” — Benjamin Franklin
