Meet the Faculty: Teacher/Coach Ralf Petiton

Position: Teacher/Coach

Education: Graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2006

What did you do before you came to Keystone: I worked at the Randolph AFB Child development Center.

Why do you like working here: I like working at Keystone because of the everyday opportunity I have to help a child achieve something they thought wasn’t achievable.

Hobbies/pastimes: Working out and recreationally playing basketball.

Something (personal or professional) you’re proud of: Something personal I’m proud is my marriage and the birth of my Son. As everyone knows the blessing of a child is indescribable.

Professionally I am proud of being the Head Coach of the Girls varsity basketball team in 2016 that made it to the Regional round of the playoffs.

Favorite/inspirational book: Life is Not An Accident, by Jay Williams

Favorite quote: “The thing I loved the most – and still love the most about teaching – is that you can connect with an individual or a group, and see that individual or group exceed their limits” –Coach K (Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski)

You were an awesome coach to both my kids. They learnt a lot of basketball and also some good life skills from you and Coach Schultze.
    Thank you!
