Position: Upper School History Teacher
Education: BA, MA, PhD in History from U.C. Berkeley
What did you do before you came to Keystone: I taught history and philosophy and coached debate at The Landon School just outside of Washington, DC.
Why do you like working here: The lovely and unique campus, the bright and motivated students, the sense of community, the dedicated and creative faculty and staff.
Hobbies/pastimes: Bicycling around town, visiting my family in the Pacific Northwest, spending time with friends, exploring new places, playing guitar and singing, going to see live music, listening to podcasts, reading essays and novels, and occasionally baking pies.
Something (personal or professional) you’re proud of: My kind and adventurous family.
Favorite/inspirational book: Hard to choose! One novel I enjoyed reading in the past year was All My Puny Sorrows by Miriam Toews.
