Middle schoolers participate in math competition
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade students who participated in the American Mathematics Competition.
Among the Keystone contingent, Cody (8th grade) won 1st place, Mara (8th) won 2nd place, and Zoe (7th) won 3rd place.
Saviandra (8th), Shaum (7th), and Ajay (8th) also participated.
The competition, sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America, is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The mathematical association aims to help young people develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers.
