Middle schoolers shop for others
Middle School students went shopping this week to support the annual toy sale at Inner City Development.
This nonprofit organization focuses its efforts on part of the West Side of the city. For the toy sale, the organization distributes tickets to neighborhood residents, who come and shop for new toys at 10% of their original price. It’s a way for families to keep dignity in giving and receiving.
Middle School parents donated funds for the shopping trip, and our middle schoolers spent a morning at Target getting toys.
