Mrs. Holden named Science Teacher of the Year
The soon-to-open Sea Life aquarium has named Mrs. Holden as its first Science Teacher of the Year.
The program sought to honor professionals who are both dedicated to their role as teachers but also passionate about educating their students about the world and our ecosystem. Mrs. Holden will receive a free lifetime pass to both SEA LIFE San Antonio and SEA LIFE Grapevine.
This is her second recent award. Last year, the National Geographic Society and Lindblad Expeditions named her as a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow, one of only three teachers in Texas who received the award. As a fellow, she traveled to Costa Rica.
Sea Life is a new attraction that’s opening downtown this spring.
