Keystone School seeks a part-time Art Instructor with a start date of August 16, 2020, for the 2021-2022 school year.  We welcome applicants committed to teaching Art in an accelerated, diverse, and inclusive environment. The position requires daily attendance for preparation and instruction from 9:45-11:15 until the conclusion of the school year in late May 2022.

Required qualifications, expectations, and experience include:

  • Kind, supportive, and inspirational teacher who encourages students of all ages to think and work like artists.
  • Establish a safe environment for students grades 10th-12th to take creative risks.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Art or a related field.
  • 3-5 years teaching experience in traditional 2D and 3D mediums.
  • Collaborate with fellow visual arts faculty member to deliver dynamic instruction in Visual Art.
  • Be a passionate and positive team player in the Arts Department.
  • Help students develop a portfolio or work, showcase their original creations throughout campus, and collaborate in curating annual art exhibitions.

Preferred qualifications, expectations, and experience include:

  • Master’s Degree in Art or a related field.
