Senior earns perfect score on AP exam
Congrats to Jack, a senior who earned every possible point on his The College Board AP US History exam. He’s one of 16 in the world to make the perfect score out of more than 500,000 students who took the test.
Advanced Placement Exams are reported on a 5-point scale, where 5 is equivalent to an A in the corresponding college course. To earn a perfect score, a student must answer every multiple-choice question correctly and earn full points on the free-response section.
In AP courses, students learn to examine texts, interpret data, evaluate evidence, construct solid arguments and see multiple sides of an issue.
