Senior traveling to South Korea for State Department program
Congratulations to graduating senior Kaitlin, who will spend the summer in South Korea for a program run by the State Department.
The program, National Security Language Initiative for Youth, aims to improve the ability of Americans to engage with the people of Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Persian, Russian, and Turkish-speaking locations through shared language.
Kaitlin will be in South Korea over the summer, taking language classes during the week and participating in cultural activities over the weekend.
She’s going on a scholarship that includes all expenses.
