Sixth-graders present Fantasy Island projects
After a lot of research and rehearsal, teams of sixth graders presented their Fantasy Island projects last week.
In this work, the groups received an assignment that specified a section of the world. From there, they had to create their own imaginary island and describe its topography, government, indigenous culture, economy, a religion and a native creature.
Each of the presentations also included a Minecraft video that illustrated the students’ vision of their island.
It’s a terrific project and the young people handled it well.
