Valentine’s Day brings smiles, hugs, flowers and lots of sweets
Valentine’s Day at Keystone is a special time of friendship, fun, and sweets. It’s also the major fundraiser for the junior class.
On this happy day, some of the younger students wore pajamas; the first graders had a terrific class party for kids and parents, complete with breakfast tacos and lots of cookies; student musicians performed cover songs in the Quad;Â and every class had some type of interruption for members of the Junior Class to pass out valentines.
And on top of all of that, Mrs. Quintero’s husband once again hired mariachis to come to school and serenade her in honor of her birthday. It’s coming up over the holiday weekend.
When you count all the kiss-o-grams that included chocolate kisses, ring pops and candies that students gave each other, there was an epic sugar rush just waiting to happen.
