Varsity volleyball celebrates individual and team awards

Seven of our varsity volleyball team members scored individual honors this season.

Here are the individual honors:

Alysa, 11th Grade: All-Tournament Team at the Boerne Tournament, Tournament MVP at the Saints Tournament, District MVP, 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-State, Academic All-State

Sidney, 11th Grade: All-Tournament Team at the Boerne Tournament, All-Tournament Team at Saints Tournament, 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-State, Academic All-State

Marlee, 10th Grade:  All Tournament Team at the Saints Tournament, 1st Team All-District, 2nd Team All-State

Abby, 11th Grade:  1st Team All-District, Honorable Mention All-State, Academic All-State

Quincy, 12th Grade: 1st Team All-District, Honorable Mention All-State, Academic All-State

Stella, 12th Grade: 2nd Team All-District, Academic All-State

Evalyn, 11th Grade: Honorable Mention All-District

To quality for Academic All-State, juniors or seniors must have earned  1st or 2nd team all-district and maintain a cumulative GPA of 90 or more.

As a team, the varsity Cobras won two tournaments and ended its season with back to back undefeated district championships and finished as Area Champs.

“I am extremely proud of the team and all their accomplishments!,” said Coach Calderon. “It was a great season. We had some very exciting wins!”
